Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 2, 2026

MyEpstein is designed to work privately on your device. We do not run user accounts, analytics dashboards, or ad tracking for this app.

Data We Collect

We do not collect personal data from you through the app or Chrome extension.

Contacts Access

If you grant Contacts permission, the app reads contact names and email addresses locally to compare them against the public archive dataset. This matching process is performed on-device.

Your contact data is not transmitted to us and is not stored on remote servers by the app.

Chrome Extension Data Handling

The MyEpstein Chrome extension runs only on LinkedIn profile pages. It reads the visible profile name and page URL locally in your browser so it can compare that name against the bundled archive index and display aggregate activity counts.

The extension does not transmit LinkedIn profile data to us, does not sell or share it, and does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, or remote code. Matching is performed locally using data packaged with the extension.

Network & External Data

The archive dataset used by MyEpstein is sourced from publicly available records, including Jmail and Justice.gov. Appearance in this dataset does not imply wrongdoing.

Children's Privacy

MyEpstein is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date on this page.
